Poppy Plaza vandalized

Calgary’s monument to Canada’s wartime efforts has been hit by vandals yet again.

A large orange star was found spray painted on one of the structures at Poppy Plaza Thursday morning, sparking outrage from passersby.

Investigators have been looking into surveillance footage, but haven’t had many clues as to who’s responsible.

It’s not the first time the plaza has been vandalized.

Spray painted graffiti showed up on the riverside wall of the plaza just before Remembrance Day 2011.
