They’ll be kick-starting the hearts of Calgarians Monday night.

Superstars Motley Crue will be in Calgary to rock the Saddledome.

The band makes an appearance in Cowtown just a few days after drummer Tommy Lee made a plea to the premier to cancel the chuckwagon races at this year’s Stampede.

The PETA activist criticized the treatment of horses, calling the event a “bloody spectacle.”

Lee also extended a personal invite to Alison Redford to attend the band’s show as his personal guest.
