Pedestrian killed by car in southwest

A woman is dead after being struck by a car in the southwest.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, at the corner of 19th Street and 90th Avenue by Baybridge Drive.
Police have a woman in her 30’s in custody, and officers say charges are pending.
The victim was in her late 50’s or early 60’s; investigators say she was walking in a marked crosswalk when she was struck.
Police say speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
The road was shut down for several hours overnight as police investigated.
