Toddler survives fall from window

A two-year-old child escaped with just a few scrapes and bruises after falling from a second-storey window Thursday afternoon.
It happened in Chestermere; emergency crews were called to a home in the Seagreen Passage area at around 1 p.m.
Mounties tell The Calgary Sun the child was left unattended near an open window.
Police hope it will serve as a cautionary tale for other parents to keep their tots safe.
