A Calgary man who victimized at least 20 children over the internet will be back in court next Friday, facing new charges including sexual assault.
Daniel Thomas Mackie bullied kids over social networking sites posing as their friend and then threatening them so they’d send him nude pictures of themselves.
Mackie was sentenced Friday to 11 years in jail but has ten years remaining, with time already served.
The Calgary Herald reports, in at least one case after threatening and harassing a 12-year-old girl, he posted a nude picture of her on her own profile.
The charges Mackie will face next Friday, include the alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.
