Evanston murder suspect appears in court

The man charged in the stabbing deaths of a mother and young son in Evanston has been ordered not to have any contact with the victim’s family.

26-year-old Guevara Wilson Clorina appeared in court Tuesday.

Clorina is charged with two counts of second degree murder,after 35-year-old Chona Manzano and her 5 year old son Gabriel were found dead in their home on Evanspark Circle last Thursday.

Police say Clorina is related to the victims, but is not immediate family.

He will be back in court on Monday.
