Hot summer forecasted for AB

It’s going to be a long hot summer for Alberta.
Meteorologists at Accuweather.com say the majority of Canadians can look forward to a more typical summer this year, but it will still be one of the top 10 warmest on record.
Lead forecaster Brett Anderson says areas south of Calgary will see some record breaking hot temperatures.
Albertans should also be prepared for the hail and thunderstorms that come with the scorching daytime highs.
But, Anderson says, the good news is this year won’t surpass summer 2012 as the warmest ever recorded.
