Wildrose Leader Danielle Smith is responding to accusations her party is too “negative” by calling the comments “nasty” and “petty.”
Smith spoke to a crowd at the BMO Centre in Calgary Tuesday night, saying Premier Alison Redford is simply projecting the government’s own weaknesses onto the opposition.
Smith defended her decision to call attention to the Tories’ many expense scandals.
She also criticized the government for failing to uphold a promise to meet Albertans’ health care and infrastructure needs without program cuts.
