Calgary mobile vet service offers stress-free check-up

Does your dog or cat stress out before a visit to the vet, or growl on the table during a regular check-up?

A Calgary-based mobile veterinary clinic, Vet-To-Go, sees hundreds of pets a month in their own homes, for a less stressful vet visit.

Wendy McClelland started the company in 2009 wanting flexibility after a maternity leave and now Vet-To-Go employs three doctors and provides a full range of non-emergency veterinary services with surgery and more complex treatments done at a sister clinic.

According to The Calgary Herald, clients are mostly in the home where animals are most comfortable and services are mostly for dogs and cats but they also take care of some exotic animals and have over 1,800 clients and growing.
