Used book sale kicks off

Canada’s largest used book sale is back at Crossroads Market this weekend.

The 11th annual Servant’s Anonymous Society of Calgary event kicks off Friday morning at 10 a.m.

More than a million titles are available, and prices start at just $1.

Last year the sale brought in $250,000, and organizers are hoping to beat that figure this year.

Money raised goes to helping young women who are victims of or at risk of sexual exploitation.
