Man left in serious condition following a possible stabbing

Calgary Police says say they now have a suspect in custody in connection with an early morning apparent stabbing in the southwest.

Just before 3 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to the 22-hundred block of Woodview Drive SW on reports of a stabbing.

The victim was taken to the Rockeyview Hospital by friends and then transferred to the Foothills Hospital in serious condition.

Police have confirmed they have arrested one person, but no other details were available.
