Dad opposes bail for accused killer

The father of a Calgary woman gunned down in the city’s southeast is opposing bail for her accused murderer.
Amy Sands was killed last August in a Dover-area garage.
A provincial court judge ruled Tuesday there was enough evidence for Jesse George Hill to stand trial for her murder.
But, Amy’s father, Ed, tells The Calgary Sun, he doesn’t like the thought Hill may be released pending a trial.
The Okotoks town councillor says it doesn’t make him feel the city will be any safer.
