Evanston murder suspect in court

A man charged with the second degree murder of a Calgary mother and son is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Guevara Wilson Clorina, 26, is charged in the deaths of Chona Manzano and her five-year-old son, Gabriel.

The pair was found inside their northwest home, with fatal stab wounds on May 16th.

Police say Clorina is related to the victims, but isn’t an immediate family member.

A judge has ordered Clorina not to have any contact with the Manzano family.
