Park officials alarmed by rare wolf behaviour

Parks Canada officials say they’re worried about rare behaviour being exhibited by animals west of Calgary.
Staff says human contact may be corrupting the wolves that have been spotted chasing vehicles in the mountains.
The Calgary Sun reports a man recorded video of a wolf, along the same stretch of roadway where a Banff motorcyclist snapped photos of a similar looking animal following behind his bike.
Parks Canada spokesperson Omar McDadi says the public’s feeding of wolves is likely the root cause of the animal’s behaviour.
McDadi says motorists should keep a 10 vehicle length buffer between themselves and wolves.
