Calgarians will get a chance to brush shoulders with urban cycling experts this week from as far away as Europe.
The city is hosting a series of public sessions to discuss a variety of topics on cycling culture and education.
Transportation engineer Blanka Bracic tells 660News some of these countries have decades of experience over Canada.
“In some respects those cities are doing things that we may not try for awhile because they are so different from what they see here. For example cycle tracks on many roads and underground bicycle parking facilities in shopping districts,” says Bracic.
Various events have been planned in the downtown core both Tuesday and Wednesday.
