High River residents returning home to damaged properties

As the first batch of High River residents go home Saturday, they are being greeted by colour coded stickers on their houses.
Green means the home is habitable. Yellow means the home has had some minor impact from flooding and may need some repairs, but is habitable. Orange means extensive repairs need to be done and residents should enter at their own risk, while red means the home is uninhabitable.
Of the 1817 structures in the Northwest communities of Lineham Acres, Eagleview Estates, Polo Park, Highwood Village, Vista Mirage, High Park and High Country where residents are allowed home, 639 are classified as green, 318 are classified as yellow, 719 are classified as orange, and 141 are classified as red.
About 5,000 residents are allowed home Saturday, the rest will be allowed home after their communities are deemed safe; a process which could take weeks in some areas.
