Calgary Public Library users are still being asked to not return materials at this time, so staff can process items that have accumulated since last Friday.
Items with due dates from June 1 to 30th, have automatically been renewed until July 15.
“Hold” pickup dates have also been extended and fines and fees charged for late materials are waived as of June 20th.
The Central branch downtown, as well as Memorial Park and Village Square locations are closed until further notice.
However, the library’s electronic service is up and running, meaning patrons can once again check their accounts online and browse the catalogue.
