Temperatures will feel close to 39 or 40 degrees Tuesday with humidity.
A humidex advisory is out for Calgary, and for much of Southern Alberta.
660News meteorologist David Spence says the high heat and humidity will make it feel oppressively uncomfortable, and the muggy air will make you want to seek air conditioning.
The humidity will lead to thunderstorms late in the day.
Spence says once the thunderstorms pass, the humidity will drop and the rest of the week will be much cooler and much more comfortable.
