RCMP return seized High River guns

Mounties are now returning guns seized from evacuated homes in High River.
The RCMP is asking gun owners to contact them to make arrangements to pick the weapons up.
Staff Sgt. Brian Jones tells The National Post, any weapons found not properly stored were taken.
The move was condemned by the Prime Minister’s office, who suggested officers should be focusing on more important things like protecting lives and private property.
Police say no charges are planned.
