City considers trade worker camp

A work camp may soon pop up in the city to house an influx of tradespeople rebuilding damaged parts of Calgary.
An estimated 6,300 buildings hit by the flood require assessment, and there aren’t enough local contractors to handle the job.
Alderman Gian-Carlo Carra tells The Calgary Sun they are brainstorming where they could put up people brought in to work.
The province has already begun setting up a temporary housing camp for over 1,000 displaced people in High River.
