A new shuttle service will transport volunteers between Calgary and High River to help residents with their flood recovery efforts.
Albertans continue to flock to the town to help with the cleanup and more than 900 volunteers have registered to help.
Shuttles will depart from:
-Mount Royal University, Parkade and Lots A & B (south side of campus) at 4825 Mount Royal Gate, S.W.
-Bishop O’ Byrne High School at 500 – 333 Shawville Blvd., S.E.
They will head to the “Mission Possible: 2” volunteer staging grounds in High River every two hours, starting Thursday (July 4th) at 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Volunteers are asked to bring their own supplies, including rubber boots, face masks and gloves.
Tools such as shovels, garbage bags and buckets may be needed to clean flood-affected homes. Water and snacks will be provided to volunteers on the shuttles.
