Dump site updates for flood damaged materials

Some information for those disposing of flood waste.
The city has announced its dumping facility at the Highfield/Bonnybrook Snow Dump Site on 50th Avenue Southeast has been closed.
Contractors hauling waste are asked to go to the 5353 94 Ave SE site to unload.
Anybody else disposing of flood related solids with the exception of sewage can go to the Shepherd Landfill on 68th Street SE.
The landfill will be open from 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. through Sunday, then go back to normal hours on Monday.
There is still no charge for disposing of flood damaged materials until further notice.
