Displaced High River residents are being placed in new interim housing as evacuation centres close Friday.
Evacuees will be placed in dorms at the University of Calgary, the University of Lethbridge, hotel rooms (at no charge), or in two temporary neighbourhoods in Saddlebrook and Great Plains.
Residents looking for housing are asked to complete an assessment.
Officials will give priority to placing families, vulnerable people, and those with homes in the red zone first.
