Fatal hit and run trial date set

A suspect in a hit and run that killed a Calgary woman earlier this year will stand trial next spring.
Steven Jonathan Vanasse, 24, has pleaded not guilty to leaving the scene of the fatal accident that killed 56-year-old Wong Shuk Yee.
Two drivers struck Yee on February 20th near Sandstone Drive near Berkshire Boulevard Northwest on February 20th; a second individual is still being sought.
The Calgary Sun reports several other motorists simply drove around the victim without stopping.
Vanasse turned himself into police about an hour after the incident.
