Man killed by train in Brooks

A 20-year-old man is dead after being hit by a train in Brooks.

RCMP, Fire and EMS responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials say the man was trying to cross the tracks at a marked crossing when he was hit.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating.
