Rempel speaking at oilsands conference

Canada’s new Minister of Western Economic Diversification will deliver a speech Wednesday morning in downtown Calgary.

Michelle Rempel will be speaking at the Oil Sands and Heavy Oil Technologies Conference at the Telus Convention Centre.

She’ll be highlighting how technological innovation continues to drive environmental performance in the oilsands.

It’s Rempel’s first public appearance since being named to Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s cabinet.
