CPS warn of high-end vehicle scam

Police have a warning for Calgarians about online fraud involving high-end vehicles.
Over the past month, two people purchased vehicles online from a company called Maynard Motors Midvale based in Midvale, Utah.
They were required to wire transfer half the cost of the vehicle before it getting shipped and then were told there are problems with customs and the remaining balance is required.
However after the last payment is made, the seller again was never heard from again.
Combined, the two victims lost more than $130,000.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
