Months to restore southeast dog park

It could take months before some city dogs have their space back.
Sue Higgins Park, formerly known as the Southland Dog Park, was 90 per cent submerged during the June flood.
So far, only about 30 to 40 per cent of the space has re-opened.
The city says the biggest challenge is fixing the fencing in the 60 hectare area.
It’s likely crews will be working right up until winter to restore the park.
