Heritage Day Closures

As with most statutory holidays, there are a number of closures around the city Calgarians should be aware of.
Calgary Transit — as usual — is operating at a Sunday level of service but there are a number of projects going on at several stations around the city. You can check ahead for detours that may be in place to get you around those slowdowns on the Calgary Transit website.
There’s a good chance it will rain in the afternoon — so an indoor activity may be a good idea for the kids. Southland and Village Square Leisure Centres are open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Garbage and recycling pick-up are not affected and remain as scheduled.
