A new online portal that gives Albertans a one stop shop for government services is causing worry.
The site, planning to launch as early as next spring, would make vehicle registrations, marriage certificates, and health cards all available with the click of a mouse.
The services were privatized nearly two decades ago to help cut down on costs to the province.
The Calgary Sun reports, the Association of Alberta Registry Agents is concerned about how this will affect their business.
Service Alberta is promising the province will work with registries and include them in planning.
