Workers needed for municipal election

The municipal election is more than two months away, and the city is now looking for some men and women to work the polls.
The election will decide who fills the office of Mayor, Councillor (Alderman), Public School Trustee and Separate School Trustee for the city of Calgary.
Those interested in working as deputy returning officers on October 21st, can download an application from the city’s website, or fill one out at the the election and information services office on 55th Avenue NE.
You must be at least 18 years old, and be willing to attend a two hour training session.
The city is looking to fill 3,000 paid positions on election day.
