Lethbridge police make massive drug bust

A nine month drug trafficking investigation has wrapped up in Lethbridge with charges against a whopping 21 people.

Police say five search warrants were executed between January and July resulting 84 charges.

Among the items seized; 1.8 kilograms of cocaine, over 500 grams of marijuana, body armour and nearly $20,000 cash.

Police say their initial investigation began last November, into a group that was allegedly transporting drugs from Calgary to Lethbridge.
