Major showdown between Stamps and Riders

The place to be Friday night is McMahon Stadium, as the Stampeders and Saskatchewan Riders clash in a battle for top spot in the CFL West.
The Stamps will be looking for a little revenge, with their only loss of the young season to the Riders back on July 5th.
The biggest matchup is in the backfield, between the Riders’ Korey Sheets, who is off the best start of any running back in CFL history, and the Stampeders Jon Cornish.
One of the morning hosts on Sportsnet 960 – The Fan, Andrew Walker says Cornish, who was the league’s best running back last season, will be looking to show he is still the best.
“He’s read the press clippings about it. No one has carried the ball as much as Korey Sheets, no one has the yards of Korey Sheets, nobody has the touchdowns of Korey Sheets. This will be the match-up to watch tonight,” He says.
Kickoff is 7p.m., but the tailgate party fun will begin a few hours before that.
