Nenshi ready for election race in the fall

With a municipal election in the fall, campaigns for various positions are beginning to take shape.
With no one stepping up to challenge Naheed Nenshi for the top job yet, the Mayor says he’s ready for whoever steps up to the plate.
“I’m absolutely certain that people will take out their papers and file and run against me. It’s not going to be an acclamation. I’m itching, I’m looking forwards to having a good policy debate with people who have a different vision for the community” says the Mayor.
Nenshi says he already has nearly 1,000 volunteers eager to help his cause.
He says it’s important for everyone to get involved in the election.
