Laughs for flood relief

It’s a funny benefit performance for a not so funny subject.
Calgary’s improv companies are joining together Sunday night for a flood fundraiser.
Mat Mailandt with the Improv Guild says there are still tickets available.
“We’re hoping to raise a few thousand dollars. The cool thing about this show is that all of the proceeds are going to the Southern Alberta Arts Flood Relief, says Mailandt. “The government is going to match all of the money we raise at this event, as well.”
The fundraiser starts at 8 tonight, at the Loose Moose Theatre, 1235 – 26th Avenue southeast.
Tickets are available at the doors for $15.
