The White House says the United States will ban certain Canadian imports, including most alcoholic drinks, some dairy products and motorcycles, as the trade war deepens between the two countries. Glen McGregor reports.

On the day our country started implementing dollar-for-dollar retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods, the City of Calgary is warning the dispute between the two countries could add between 315 to 466 million dollars on existing contracts.

The fallout from a Calgary councillor claiming responsibility for leaked preliminary budget documents is continuing to defend his actions, saying ‘sometimes breaking rules is the right thing to do.’ Jillian Code reports.
