Shots were fired from inside a northwest home Monday night.

Officers were called to the 4600 block of 20th Avenue in Montgomery, just after 11:30 p.m.

Initial reports suggested there was a home invasion in progress, but Duty Inspector Guy Baker tells 660News, that’s not the case.

“It wasn’t really a home invasion; it was somebody who was commenting property damage, breaking windows, screaming and, it appears, broke part of a fence,” he says.

The two men involved, in their 30’s, know one another and remain in police custody.
