Forest Lawn neighbours upset with crime

Forest Lawn residents are fed up with drugs and prostitutes in their neighbourhood.

The principal of Patrick Airlie Elementary school sent out a letter to parents recently, trying to assure them they’re working with police to address problems in the area.

But some parents feel police aren’t doing enough.

Brad Stunzi tells The Calgary Sun he feels the community is getting worse and needs a big cleanup.

Calgary police say they are constantly addressing issues in the area by shutting down drug houses, and putting bike, cruiser and beat patrols in place.

Officers explain those efforts are not always highly visible to the public.
