Man extricated after SE collision

A man is recovering in hospital after getting involved in a crash in the southeast.
Fire crews were called to 84th Street and 61st Avenue, S.E. just before 6:00 p.m. Friday.
They needed to use hydraulic extrication equipment to remove the man from one vehicle; he was then taken to hospital.
No other injuries were reported, the investigation continues.
