Motorcyclist killed in S.E. crash

A man in his 40’s is dead after a motorcycle and delivery truck collided in the southeast.
EMS confirms the crash happened just after 2p.m. Tuesday along 61st Avenue at 44th Street.
“On arrival, the male, believed to be approximately 40 years old, sustained fatal injuries at that scene, and after a brief assessment by EMS, was declared deceased and not transported to hospital,” Spokesperson Stuart Brideaux says.
No one else was injured in the crash.
61 Avenue SE remains closed between 40 Street and 46 Street SE, and 44 St SE is closed between 58 Ave and 64 Ave SE and investigators determine the cause of the crash.
