Enmax installs solar panels

Enmax has finished installing the last panels of their solar power grid on the roof of their main office in the southeast.
The power-generated from the 8,000 square foot system, with help produce enough energy to power one third of their computers and monitors annually.
Rob Harris is the Vice President of Distributed Generation at Enmax and tells 660News, officials will be monitoring what happens over time.
“You can also set it up so you can look at a monetary amount, so you can take the kilowatt hours that you actually produce, and convert it to a dollar amount of saving, he says, “and that’s all configurable, so you can put down the amount that you pay for electricity, and actually see what you would offset.”
Officials say they are hoping to gain more knowledge of the system to hopefully apply it to other businesses and homes.
