Longboarding across Canada for cancer

A father and son pair are making a trip across the country, the hard way.
They’re longboarding across the 7,000 km journey and are arriving in Calgary Thursday night.
Cancer survivor Brandon Harrison and his father Michael Floyd are raising awareness and funds for childhood cancers.
Floyd tells 660News, they’ve learned a lot on their way from Newfoundland to Calgary.
He says, “The people in this country are phenomenal–we’ve relied on the support to get through this and with the help and people and we’re just meeting amazing couples, families everywhere and it’s reaffirmed my faith for this country as an incredible place to live.”
Floyd says they will leave for Vancouver on Sunday.
