Calgary police out in full force for long-weekend

Calgary Police are gearing up for a busy long weekend with an extra volume of vehicles and motorcycles on the road.
Sergeant Colin Foster with the Collision Reconstruction Unit tells 660News, he knows some of us will have a few drinks but reminds everyone, there is no excuse to drink and drive.
“There’s taxis out there, there’s friends who aren’t drinking, use a designated driver scheme, use taxis, get home safely,” says Foster.
He adds, police will be also be enforcing the speed limit which is in place for the safety of all drivers.
