Labour Day weekend will be sunny and warm

Thousands of people are getting ready to hit the highway for the last long weekend of the summer, and 660News Meteorologist David Spence says it will be a good one weather-wise.

Conditions are looking good for both the Shaw Charity Classic and the Labour Day Classic on Monday.

It’s looking like a good time to go camping as well.

Other than a quick rain shower Friday afternoon in some areas, it’s going to be sunny and warm with temperatures in the mid to high 20’s across southern Alberta.

Nice weather will be had in the popular camping areas in the mountains too, but you should expect cool temperatures at night, dropping down to the single digits.
