Construction Crews discover a grenade in Calgary’s N.E.

A scary find the N.E. as emergency officials say someone found a grenade.
Detective Steve Adair tells 660News the bomb squad has taken over the investigation, adding “it does look like it’s been there for quite some time.”
Adair says construction crews discovered the device while moving a set of concrete stairs on Madeira Close.
Officials continue to investigate.
There have been no reports of injury.
