Serious bike crash near Longview

A 16 year-old boy from the Vulcan area is fighting for his life in a Calgary hospital following an early Monday morning dirt bike crash.
Turner Valley RCMP say the teen slammed his bike into a parked car on highway 541 west of Longview around 2:30 a.m.
Witnesses tell Mounties the teen had allegedly been drinking heavily at an area bush party prior to the crash.
Police say he was also not wearing a helmet when his bike hit the car, sending the victim onto the pavement.
The boy was taken to hospital by STARS air ambulance in critical condition.
