Chinook LRT re-opens

One of Calgary’s biggest LRT hubs is open for business, after nine months of construction.

Over 12,000 commuters can now come and go from the Chinook CTrain station.

Changes were made to make the station more pedestrian-friendly with heated shelters, better security cameras and a wider pedestrian walkway.

The reconstruction is part of the city’s larger program to prepare all the stations for the future use of four-car CTrains.
