The wet weather didn’t keep away crowds at Spruce Meadows over the weekend.
More than 78,000 people made it out for the Masters on Saturday, despite the soggy conditions.
Ian Allison, Vice President at Spruce Meadows, tells The Calgary Sun the showing really spoke well for Calgary as a city, and how much Calgarians embrace the sport.
Another 81,000 people were at the grounds when the warmth came back out on Sunday.
Allison says he is hesitant to call any year the best ever, but this Masters had a lot of memorable moments.
