Pepper spray unleashed at pub on 17th Ave.

Last call was anything but enjoyable early Wednesday at Morgan’s Pub on 13th Street and 17th Avenue S.W.

According to Calgary police, just before 2:30 a.m., a man walked into the pub and emptied a can of bear spray.

No serious injuries were reported but more than 30 patrons and staff were treated by EMS.

Police are reviewing images from close circuit cameras hoping to identify the man who fled the area.
