S.E. LRT line pushed back again

The wait is getting longer for those wishing for a Southeast LRT line in Calgary.

A motion Tuesday night at City Hall put over a strategy meeting on transit projects to next February and to a new council.

According to the Calgary Sun, administration is still pushing for a cost-benefit ranking of the project, which puts the Southeast CTrain line at the very bottom.

Earlier this year the list ranked a new transit way along Centre Street as the top priority.

The cost of a Southeast line is estimated at $642-million while the centre street project is only $120-million.
